In this class we will learn how to craft and deliver stand-up comedy material, including premises, punchlines and personas.The course will include:

• watching and analyzing standup comedy,

• learning how to generate bits,

• and writing and polishing jokes.

We will also practice delivering what we write for an audience. This workshop will include feedback from instructor and peers through writing assignments you will come and deliver to class each week.By the end of the course you will have generated 5 minutes of original material. The class will culminate in a final performance in front of an audience should you choose to participate in the show.
